Description:The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing and inputting vendor invoices for coding and payment. This position also is responsible for prioritizing invoices to ensure timely payment to our vendors and handling manual check requests for vendor payment. Duties to include: Process high volume of invoices in our computer system. Reviews payable invoices for accuracy and matches to the purchase order submitted for authorization of purchase. Codes payable invoices with correct general ledger codes to ensure proper entry into computer. Prioritize invoices according to payment terms. Assists accounting department as necessary. Communicates with co-workers, management, vendors and others regarding purchases.Skills:Invoicing, Payable, Accounts payable, Invoice processing, Purchase order, Reconciliation, Accounts receivable, Way match, Three way matching:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
