Mercy General Hospital is proud to foster inclusion and diversity as part of our mission vision and values.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is responsible for providing direct health care services to the cardiac catheterization patient population. Within this role the incumbent synthesizes theoretical scientific and contemporary clinical knowledge for the assessment and management of both health and illness states. The primary care provided consists of evaluation of normal and abnormal findings initiation of treatments and coordinating the discharge process. These functions will be performed in accordance with the Standardized Procedures approved by the Mercy General Hospital Committee for Credentials and Interdisciplinary Practices and Cardiology section.We offer the following benefits to support you and your family:

QualificationsMinimum Requirement:

Current California Nurse Practitioner license

Completion of an accredited program for Nurse practitioners and certification as Nurse Practitioner

Masters degree (or appropriate certificate).

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Current DEA number or pending DEA# application (must be obtained within 3 (three) months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as an acute care Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner
