Pay: Hourly base rate of $17/hour + commission of $25 per patient. (Running 1 room pays approx. $42/hour. Running 2 rooms pays approx. $67/hour.
Hours: The following is a list of current availability. This can be adjusted to fit the type of schedule you may be looking for. Likely to start with 2-3 days per week and hopefully quickly increase to 4-5 days per week. Shifts can be half days or full days based on your preference. Our goal is to find a common ground schedule that you are happy with but that also meets the business’ needs.
- 1 room available: Thursday, every other Friday, every other Saturday
- 2 rooms available: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, every other Friday
Job Description:
- Provide a thorough intake and accurate diagnosis while using exceptional bedside manner and professionalism with patients
- Create customized treatment plans for patients
- Provide safe & effective acupuncture using sterile, single-use needles
- Provide herbal formula recommendations that are customized to each patient
- Provide dietary and lifestyle modifications that are customized to each patient
- Be capable of providing cupping and/or gua sha if needed for patients
- Work in collaboration with other acupuncturists and massage therapists in the office for shared patient care
- Maintain a clean working area and surroundings that follow CNT protocol
- Effectively listen to patients and answer patient questions in terms that they can understand as well as help ease any worries about treatment that patients may have
- Be able to chart all treatment notes completely and accurately on the same-day as the treatment

Requirements:
- 3 years minimum experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist
- Must follow CNT protocols
- Hold a current CPR certification and renew on time every 2 years
- Hold at minimum of a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Hold a current license with the California Acupuncture Board and renew on time when renewal is due
- Be able to pass a background check with the Roseville Police Department
- Complete a 1 hour sexual harassment training within the first 6 months of employment and then again every 2 years per CA state law
- Treat up to 2 patients per hour (starting on the half hour) using 2 rooms
- Must be passionate about Chinese Medicine
- Must be confident to work on pregnant clients
- No specific specialty is required
- Willingness to take continuing education is a must
