We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate live-in aid to assist and provide companionship for my 75-year-old grandmother in Sacramento in our community. The ideal candidate will be patient, trustworthy, and experienced in caregiving for seniors, particularly those needing companionship and assistance with daily activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Meal preparation and planning
- Medication management like administering prescribed medication at required schedules
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties and laundry to ensure a clean environment
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and run errands as needed
- Coordinate and accompany to medical appointments
- Monitor the health and report any changes to the family or healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in caregiving (preferably with elderly individuals)
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Ability to lift and move elderly clients if necessary
- Compassionate, patient, reliable and positive attitude
- Strong and excellent communication skills
- Able to live-in full-time
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle preferred

- Three to four personal days per month. If you need this to be consecutive, we need to know within 72 hours. If you need it one day per week, 24 hours in advance is preferred
