Job Description:
Title: Labeling Specialist II
Location: Onsite; San Clemente, CA - 92673
Duration: 6 Months
Note: Having experience with BarTender, inDesign or Microsoft Publisher or similar software is key for this position.
Position Summary
The Labeling Specialist is responsible for development and implementation of product labeling for the Labeling group of the Product Configuration department. The Labeling Specialist will be expected to interface mainly with internal customers and external suppliers for the development of labels for disposable medical devices. The position requires the ability to interact with multiple functional groups such as Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, etc
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform routine and complex label creation and modification tasks
Assign labeling for new devices
Assign label component and part numbers to a log or database
Create temporary production labels
Assign GTINs
Create print matte slugs and rubber mats
Order released print mattes
Create, propagate and implement AGILE PLM/Oracle EBS ECOs
Review and approve AGILE PLM/Oracle EBS ECOs for domestic and international labeling
Create, review, and approve AGILE PLM/Oracle EBS workflows
Coordinate translations
Manage translation vendor quotes, POs, and documents
Create and update multi-language DFUs
Investigate labeling issues for other departments
Search for and retrieve existing AGILE PLM/Oracle EBS documents
Perform advanced troubleshooting of label files and systems
Create and maintain label attribute data
Troubleshoot complex labeling issues
Work on special assignments as they arise
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Knowledge of graphic design software used in graphic design and label creation
Understanding of labeling regulations and guidelines
High level of attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Labeling Support role or equivalent
Experience with an ERP system"
