Are you meticulous? Are you someone who double and triple checks their work? Can you anticipate the next steps to take on a project? Are you willing to learn? We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our accounting team.
The ideal candidate should have at least two years of experience. This role will include the following responsibilities.
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely and accurate invoice processing, collections, and payment.
Conduct periodic inventory counts and manage inventory levels.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial reports including accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers.
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
Communicate with vendors and customers as needed to resolve any billing or payment issues.
Collaborate with the accounting team to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
At least two years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Manufacturing experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management processes.
Proficiency in Excel.
QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to the LA area (Century City) for meetings 1-2 times a month. (Paid travel time / hotel if needed / mileage reimbursed.)
