We are currently looking for a skilled Welding & Fabrication Technician to join our team.
This position will focus on welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment. Ideal candidates should be able to multi-task, demonstrate strong attention to
detail, and be committed to producing high-quality work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
Welding & Fabrication Responsibilities:
MIG welding of large 6061 Aluminum panels and small fixtures.
TIG/MIG welding of aluminum components, ensuring high-quality welds and precision.
Drilling and cutting aluminum beams and plates as needed for various projects.
Drilling electrical enclosure boxes and assembling the boxes with control system
modules, wiring, solenoids, and plumbing.
Fabricating parts and fixtures to support system assembly and production.
Conducting quality control inspections to ensure welds and components meet required
specifications.
Performing general maintenance and troubleshooting of welding and fabrication
equipment.
General Responsibilities:
Assist with product assembly and integration into the production process.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and compliance with company
standards.
Use power tools, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of materials, parts, and finished products.
Support warehouse organization, inventory management, and daily cleaning.
Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to meet production
goals.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
1-2 years of experience in welding and fabrication, including MIG & TIG welding
(aluminum).
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve fabrication issues
quickly.
Experience with cutting, drilling, and shaping metal components (specifically aluminum).
Familiarity with basic electrical systems, including wiring, solenoids, and assembly of
control modules.
Experience working with power tools, welders, and other fabrication equipment.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete projects on time.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in
a team environment.
Punctual, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining a high work ethic.
Previous electronics assembly experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and tools (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working with welding equipment, power tools, and other fabrication
machinery.
Ability to work in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
