GENERAL SUMMARY:



  • Supports the design activity for the PCB (Flexible Printed Circuits) for electrical performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Acts as an electrical engineer for PCB (Flexible Printed Circuits) to be used for consumer electronics devices.
  • Captures EE requirements from customer's spec and design circuit with other engineers.
  • Interacts with customers and internal engineering team for the Design for Manufacturing and Design for Functions.
  • Performs engineering analysis for the Electronics Circuits by using simulation tools.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Experience in Simulation Software Ansys HFSS.
  • Minimum 3 years of consumer electronics industry experience, PCB industry preferred.
  • Cadence Allegro/OrCAD experience preferred.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and various levels of employees. Bi-lingual English/Japanese preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:



  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:



  • Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in various forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to act as a resource for others.
