job summary:

Business /Data Analyst candidate should have sound working knowledge of Data Warehouse/ Mart concepts and experience in creating Business Requirements Documents for multiple projects and provide requirement and design-related assistance to the development team. This position documents data flows, data mappings, performs data lineage analysis as required. Should have experience working with multiple systems, databases, document the changes for data requirements. Collaborate with business partners, technical partners, and representatives from other groups to understand and evaluate their requirements regarding data, and ensure their needs are met in a timely fashion.?

Required Qualification:

• 4 to 7 years of Business Analysis experience
• Proven experience liaising with business teams and working with business processes to fulfill customer needs in a timely and efficient manner
• Must possess a business operations mindset to ensure the requisite process steps are followed to accomplish business tasks
• Database knowledge and experience with database query tools and languages
• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and projects being able to multitask and manage time well.
• Must demonstrate excellent problem solving and analytical skills to determine issues and resolutions, and must be organized
• Must be able to work independently with various teams within the group, and prioritize tasks, and be able to raise issues appropriately for management action
• strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills
• Prior demonstrated experience with business analysis, requirements, and data gathering
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders on a high visibility project
• strong desire to elicit, simplify, organize and manage requirements

Skills:

• Experience with Agile projects is a plus
• Experience preferred on projects involving these areas:
• Digital
• Data/Reporting
• Business Intelligence, Enterprise Data Warehouse, ETL
• SQL, Oracle or other
• Business Analysis

• SQL/PL SQL

Education Needs/Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with Business Management (or related field), or equivalent work experience required
• SAP S/4 OR HANA Knowledge is a plus

• Develops complex and clear technical solution requirements and specifications for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Articulates technology solutions and requirements to diverse internal/external stakeholders, integrating process, business rules, and data to meet business needs.
• Data-driven, results-oriented with the ability to quickly analyze data and make decisions that drive performance.
• strong SQL and Excel skills are required.
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
• Understanding of Data Lineage, Source to target mapping is strongly needed.
• Understand systems, data flows, and architecture to assist with the creation and/or standardization of technology solutions.
• Data-driven, results-oriented with the ability to quickly analyze data and make decisions that drive performance.
• Participate in meetings with users, project managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or expand applications that accomplish business operations of assigned work unit(s).
• Create, design, and format technical specification documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, and other information or processes needed to describe required system changes for development, QA, and other internal customers.
• Facilitating the general workflow and direct the project's day-to-day tasks to make sure all documentation is updated and complete.
• Work closely with the Engineering team to make sure the projects are extremely organized.
• Translate business requirements and collaborate with the Engineering team in prototyping for further fine turn requirements.
• Experience in writing Business Requirements, and Field Mapping documents for exposing data elements for reporting purposes.
• Working experience in projects which used HANA Data warehouse, Informatica, SAP Oracle DB.
