Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Tearista to join our team at Wild Tea Leaf. As a Tearista, you will be the face of our teahouse, guiding guests on a journey of discovery through our diverse selection of organic teas, herbs, food and elixirs. You will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion while providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist guests in selecting teas based on their preferences and tastes.
Prepare and serve teas with precision and care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Educate guests about the origins, flavors, and health benefits of different teas.
Create custom tea blends and recommend tea accessories to enhance the tea-drinking experience.
Maintain a clean and organized tea bar, including brewing equipment and tea storage areas.
Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications:
Passion for tea and/or a desire to share this knowledge and enthusiasm with others. Will train if no prior experience.
Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge of tea and tea culture.
