Hourly wage (depending on experience) + Tips
BAR MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage their staff and vendors to ensure a smooth running, profitable business.
Responsible for Entertainment/talent acquisition, training and mentoring to ensure that service and drink standards are consistent.
Maintain appearance of bar both inside & out. Create & Manage sanitation and cleanliness side duties schedule for bar staff.
Responsible for ordering products necessary for entire bar to function, turning inventory & depleting dead stock, controlling labor, controlling waste, nightly accounting, marketing, visual and the general upkeep of the establishment.
Develop drink specials & cocktail menu program
Manage day to day operations for drink service
Manage all bartending & security staff and scheduling
Assist with all beer, wine, and liquor ordering via InteliPar & Provi system.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:
Must be 21 years of age.
High school or GED equivalent
Preferred 4 years minimum bartending experience
2 years staff management experience. (Bar and/or restaurant management experience a bonus, but not required.)
Provide Certificate of RBS for all California Alcohol Servers. State specific requirements as of July 1 2022.
COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS & GENERAL ABILITY:
Home computer or laptop
Ability to operate a POS system
Experience with Microsoft Office -Excel, word, outlook
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel.
