Job Responsibilities:
Prepare income tax returns for long time clients: Individuals and small corporations, using Lacerte tax software. Candidate must be experienced preparing tax returns, and working with Lacerte is a plus. CPA’s and EA’s welcome.
Other skills necessary: Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks, downloading files, emailing clients, organization skills, and the ten-key pad.
This job is part-time and mostly seasonal.
Tax Season: 2 - 3 days a week during tax season, February 15 - April 15th, and August 15 - October 15. Hours: 11AM - 5PM, flexible.
Between tax season months: one partial day per week. Very little work in November and December.
Onsite parking, walkable to downtown Danville, three blocks away from the Iron Horse Trail.
Pay rate: $35 - $60 depending on experience, paid as a consultant/ contractor.
Preference is given to candidates living close to the office.
Mid to Senior experience level preferred.
