Dearest Caregiver!
We are a super loving playful family of 4. Mama, Papa, super snuggly and bright 7 yr old boy and charming-to-the-max 3 yr old boy. Located in San Geronimo. We're losing our beloved nanny to a career transition and we're needing someone new and lovely to join our family.
The schedule we're looking for is as follows:
Mondays and Fridays 9am-4:30pm
If you're available to do some evening and weekend babysitting we've got lots of opportunities for that too!
The daytime hours would mostly entail taking care of our littlest one. Trips to the park, walks around the neighborhood, taking him to gymnastics class, etc. You would also pick up our older kiddo from school in the afternoon and get him home and settled in.
-We pay 30an hour regardless of whether you're taking care of 1 or 2 kids.
-Consistency and reliability are a must. Both my husband and I work from home for ourselves by the hour and get no sick days or paid time off. So when we lose any nanny care we have no back up.
-Must be comfortable taking care of sick kids and have a strong immune system. Our kids get sick an average amount for small children (which means they get sick a lot!). Being happy to be right there in with them while they're sick and preferably not often getting sick yourself is an important part of the job.
-Willingness to help around the house (though always secondary to taking care of the kiddos) is also an important part of the job. Occasional grocery shopping, kitchen clean up, dinner prep, laundry folding. Keeping a household with children running smoothly is a herculean task, many hands make lighter work! We would never expect you to do anything we don't also do but we've learned over the years that since we as parents spend so much of the time we have with our kids also needing to tend our home simultaneously, it's important to us that you're willing to spend a little of your time doing it too.
Please contact me with any questions!
We look forward to meeting the right person to become a part of our warm and happy household
