Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior CAD Designer, you will play a crucial role in the development of architectural metalwork projects from concept to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where your designs will be brought to life in our production facility.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed drawings for approval by architects and clients.

Create precise fabrication drawings for production, ensuring all specifications are met.

Perform material take-offs to determine the required materials for each project.

Request information (RFIs) and clarify details with architects and clients as needed.

Request quotes for materials and services to support project budgeting and planning.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.

Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience with AutoCAD in a professional setting.

Work authorization in the United States.

Current and valid driver’s license.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in architectural metal fabrication or related fields.

Familiarity with other CAD software and design tools.

Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials.
