Bartenders / Servers are responsible for positive guest interaction while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders / servers are expected to be attentive to the guests’ needs and making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.
Responsibilities may include:
Greet guests, take beverage orders from the servers or directly from guests.
Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered.
Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures
Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, prepare inventory
Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions.
Requirements/Responsibilities
At least two years of experience at a fast paced dining establishment is preferred, however we will train the right candidate
Working knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and tending bar, with the ability to learn and follow recipes.
A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food, wine, spirits and customer service
Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience
Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
The ability to multi-task and work well in a high volume environment
Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system (Toast)
Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus
Must have valid RBS cert card and food handler card
