Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations
- Develop innovative recipes and maintain high standards for food quality
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and special event offerings
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels to optimize profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong background in food management, food service management, and culinary arts
- Experience in catering, bartending, food handling, cooking, restaurant management, and kitchen operations
- Proficiency in menu planning and creating diverse culinary offerings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Proficiency in food costing
