We are a busy restaurant in Albany that brings the olive orchards of Jerusalem and the coasts of the Mediterranean together to inspire a wonderful dining experience on Solano Avenue!
We are currently looking for experienced Servers with bartending experience. Candidates must have flexible schedule and weekend availability!
Servers are responsible for providing outstanding customer service while staying engaged with guests throughout their dining experience by taking food and beverage orders, delivering food and beverages, maintaining the table and providing warm, courteous and efficient service with accurate cash handling practices. All servers must be warm and welcoming and possess excellent communication and customer service skills, while answering customer questions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet and interact with guests according to our Service Standards
Take guest orders and accurately enter into POS system
Accurately process cash and/or credit card transactions to close the ticket and provide correct change (if required).
Answer customers' questions and involve a manager if not able to resolve the issue.
Accountable for the accurate reconciliation of the drawer at end of shift.
Prepare the station for opening to ensure it is well stocked and clean.
Stock paper goods for food service to ensure uninterrupted service for the day.
Maintain station during service
Run food and beverages as needed
Stock beverages in the cooler to ensure uninterrupted service for the day.
May expedite guest orders occasionally.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 21 years of age
Proven working experience as a server
Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters etc)
Food Handler Certification
Responsible Alcohol certification
Harassment Certification
Workplace Violence Prevention Certification
Bartending experience is a plus
