Description:

We are seeking a Scrap metal Sorter to join our team at CalWest Recycling. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and have experience working in a recycling center or related field. This position requires someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate the scale and accurately weigh inbound and outbound materials

Sort and process recyclable materials

Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service

Load and unload materials using a forklift

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)

Forklift certification (preferred)

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working in a recycling center or related field (preferred)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team (VERY IMPORTANT)
