Bread Bike is hiring for a critical role in our bakery: the Cafe and Market Manager. The Cafe and Market Manager oversees the daily operations of Bread Bike Bakery’s brick and mortar cafe and farmers market locations. In this role, you will manage a team of front of house and farmers market representatives to ensure smooth sales operations, exceptional customer service, and a positive work atmosphere. At the same time you will work to improve our business in both settings as you also guide the growth of a cafe at Bread Bike.
Bread Bike is a small San Luis Obispo based organic bakery that bakes 100% organic naturally leavened bread and California style pastries with fresh milled whole grains and locally sourced ingredients. Through our work we strive to cultivate, educate, and inspire an inclusive community that cares about their food, their farmers, their planet, and each other.
We are a diverse team of 25 whom bake and serve thousands of breads and pastries every week to supply our brick and mortar shop, grocery stores, wineries, cafes, and farmers markets in SLO County. We look forward to hearing from you!
Our ideal candidate can commit to 2+ years in this position, has a passion for food done right and community, and has past professional experience in management in a cafe or bakery job.

Compensation: $60k - $70k DOE
Full Time Salaried: Typically Tuesday through Saturday. MUST be available for holiday work.
