Marina Dock Attendant
Labor Finders is currently looking to immediately hire a long term, full time worker. This is a job for someone who wants a fulltime job that is steady and reliable.
Duties:
Ability to be trained in necessary cleaning procedures to provide a safe and pleasant
Meet all guests at the boathouse in a pleasant and helpful manner, providing outstanding customer service
Instruct all guests in the operation of boats and safety equipment in a professional manner
Instruct guests in safe boating operations
Answer questions concerning the park including fishing information, rules, and regulations
Complete boat rental contracts, review with customers in clear and accurate manner
Complete cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain all daily rental records and maintenance logs as directed
Meet all returning boats and guests as they arrive at the marina
Perform quagga mussel inspections (if certified) as necessary
Clean all boats upon their return and fuel boats as necessary
Keep the marina dock areas and boathouse organized and free of clutter
Ensure that all boats are properly secured before leaving
Assist in maintaining the rental fleet in optimum condition
Maintain boat batteries (filling/charging) as necessary and directed
Patrol lake to monitor safe boating and compliance with rules and regulations
Must:
Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
Have the ability to operate and maintain a company vehicle required
Have reliable transportation
Be able to work weekends, nights, early mornings, and holidays
Be able to lift 50 pounds and have the agility to perform the Marina Attendant duties listed
Be able to operate cash register and calculators
Have knowledge about fishing and boating rules and regulations
Be able to swim
Be able to assist in minor repairs to boats and motors
Obtain Quagga Inspector Level 1 certification (within 60 days).
Requirements:
Have a clean driving record free of major infractions and be able to pass a background check
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to provide documentation that proves your right to work in the US
