Duration: 3 years Location: South San Francisco, CA Our client is seeking a talented and experienced full-stack engineer to work on several high-impact, high-visibility projects for the gRED Early Clinical Development Informatics (ECDi) AI team. The team specializes in developing cutting-edge technology to optimize the clinical trial end to end. As a member of this team, you will be on the front lines, joining the team in scoping projects, implementing new functionality, creating and deploying user interfaces, leading backend deployment, and wrangling some data. If interested, you will also have the opportunity to grow your data management and data science skills. You will leverage your computer science experience to engineer a seamless flow of clinical information. You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders involved in the clinical development process (e.g., Clinical Science, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, Quality, Regulatory). Your work will also cross multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, immunology, neuroscience, metabolism, infectious disease, and others. Together with cross-functional stakeholders, you will develop industry-leading solutions for highly complex business problems. To manage the design and pilot of these software products, you will apply a high degree of ingenuity and creativity while maintaining a finger on the pulses of the rapidly changing tech and healthcare landscapes. An ideal candidate will be: An experienced full-stack engineer well versed in Vue, React, Python / Flask, AWS products like EC2 / S3 / Lambda, and various solutions for databases and data storage/lakes/warehouses Experienced with RESTful APIs and microservice designs, architecture, and methodologies Comfortable with UI/UX and visual design Able to scope high-level project design and data management, down to low-level features and user flow Analyze user stories, propose solutions and create image/video mockups Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong culture and high autonomy
Skills:
You have solid development skills, have had direct exposure to Business Objects, Qliktech, Oracle, Hadoop and Informatica, and web technologies and development tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and languages such as Java, C, C#.
Experience developing and supporting data warehousing and analytics solutions.
Have been an active member of software engineering teams (SCRUM preferred)
Have exceptional communication skills
Have experience collaborating cross-functionally on small to large and complex efforts Biotech experience preferred
Experience with Saas integration/API Platforms
