What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians with a positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. We want team players who can solve problems independently and take pride in delivering high-quality results.
Position Overview:
As a Low Voltage Technician at Calidad Services, you’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of low voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, and mobile surveillance units. You’ll work with CAT 6 cables, data racks, access points, fiber optics, data jacks, and structured cabling. In addition, you will install access control systems—including readers, locks, controllers, and video intercoms—and also provide consulting on these systems. The role also includes installing alarm systems and providing support for computer and technology-related requirements.
You should be comfortable learning new software and technologies to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Low Voltage Installations: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all low voltage systems, including CCTV, data racks, access points, fiber, data jacks, and structured cabling.
Access Control: Install and maintain access control systems (e.g., readers, locks, controllers, and video intercoms).
Solar Solutions: Build solar surveillance trailers to meet our quality standards.
System Deployment: Strategically deploy our innovative products for maximum efficiency.
Cabling: Pull and terminate CAT 6 cables and fiber optics with precision, ensuring optimal data flow.
Alarm Systems: Install and maintain alarm systems.
Collaboration: Work closely with team members, contributing to a positive and efficient team environment.
Technology & Software: Learn and apply new software to improve system management and operations.
Consulting: Provide clients with expert advice on the best low voltage solutions to meet their needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience with power tools and low voltage systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, fiber optics, data racks, data jacks, alarm systems, etc.).
Basic understanding of computer technology and willingness to learn new software.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in diverse environments, including all weather conditions.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and pass a drug test and background check.
Preference given to candidates with prior low voltage experience.
