Perform software development and testing tasks and focus on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software.
individual contributor, will analyze product development design, articulate expected testing approaches, build and maintain test automation framework, execute functional and regression tests using both manual and automated test suites, and collaborate with other functional teams on aspects of the feature or sub-system. Assist in driving quality and excellence through a detailed approach to automation.
Being a part of an Agile team, review and contribute to user stories to identify acceptance criteria, while building test automation framework to validate criteria.
Implement, execute, and debug automated UI and API level test automation framework using various technologies and tools.
Debug software products using systematic test design to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automate scripts and programs for testing. Install, configure and maintain automated testing framework.
Conduct all phases of software testing including test planning, functional, integration and regression testing.
Collaborate with product owners, and software engineers to understand requirements and business use cases.

We’re better together! This role is fully on-site (all 5 days in the office) for the first 90 days and Monday through Thursday after that (Fridays can be optional).
What you will need to have:
Bachelor's preferred with 7+ years of QA and/or development experience. Must be very strong in OOP
We look for test professionals with advanced programming skills who can create automation testing tools and frameworks to assist the manual testing process.
Experience Architecting Test Automation Framework from scratch.
Test automation for web UI with Selenium or Cypress (but test automation for web UI is more important)
Exposure programming experience with Java along with 5+ years of programming or scripting languages. (Java, TypeScript, Python)
Experience testing REST API calls and writing SQL queries.
Experience using test case management and defect management tools like Confluence, JIRA, ALM, or MTM.
Experience testing all layers of a web application, including front-end, service layer, and back-end testing.
Ability to build detailed test plans and test scripts (manual and automated) from business requirements.
Ability to document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports
What would be great to have:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in working with Android and IOS devices
Testing Mobile, Tablet, and/or Handheld Device iOS/Android Development.
Experience working with POS (point of sale), payments or reporting applications.
