Exact Staff is seeking skilled Sewers for a company that specializes in manufacturing organic mattresses. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. As a Sewer, you will be responsible for sewing mattresses according to provided plans, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and maintaining your sewing machine for a smooth production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sewing Mattresses: Follow provided plans to sew mattress components accurately and efficiently.
Machine Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the sewing machine to ensure smooth and continuous operation.
Project Completion: Manage multiple sewing tasks, ensuring all projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Collaboration: Work independently with minimal supervision but contribute to overall team productivity.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7AM-4:30PM
Compensation:
Pay rate: $18.00-$19.00 per hour, paid weekly.
Requirements:
Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role or work environment.
Sewing Machine Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial sewing machine experience.
Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and take responsibility for completing projects.
Attention to Detail: Ensure precision and quality in sewing projects.
