RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's healthcare client is looking for a Junior IT Data Analyst to join the team. This position is 100% remote, but candidates must be located in CA, WA, OR or CO. It is a 6-month CTH opportunity, and the client cannot provide sponsorship.
Summary:
To ensure high quality reporting to CMS, the Junior IT Data Analyst will generate reports, perform quality assurance analysis, collect, store and maintain required data elements, perform user acceptance testing, and data integrity analysis between internal systems. The data reported is used by CMS for claims processing purposes, any reporting problems or data errors could have a negative impact on members, employer groups, and the client.
Responsibilities:
Investigate, document, and analyze client requirements in project areas such as: new/existing business operating models with innovative approaches to applicable department solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality and operational readiness assessment
The Junior IT Data Analyst assesses scope and impact of client business needs
Participates in the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements and in the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information
Participates in workflows, process diagrams and gap analysis
Assist in the development of project plans
Use the associated project planning tools
Development of test cases
Client support during system development and implementation
As a Junior IT Data Analyst, this role is responsible for development and maintenance of service level agreements
Error reporting
Account management and reconciliations
Answer and assist clients and stakeholders with training and questions
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or higher
2+ years of experience
Experience building Alteryx workflows
Experience building Structured Query Language (SQL)
Strong grasp of Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) concepts
Oracle application knowledge
Advanced Excel knowledge
Knowledge of application of standard principles, theories, and techniques
Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways
Demonstrates development of positive relationships with peers
Understands functional area business processes
