Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a Packager at the facility located in Louisville, CO. The Packager will perform tasks such as packing bread and roll products in specified configurations, labeling, and packing in bags or boxes. Ensuring accurate counts in the case, and that all the products packed meet specified finished product quality guidelines. The basic functions of the job are typically performed at a rapid pace on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities:
· Processing (packing + labeling)
· Quality assurance of raw, frozen and finished materials
· Safe Food Practices specific to department
· Pick food products and pack in totes and boxes
· Scan labels on packages, load packaging machines, and label packages with printed labels
· Spot check packages emerging from machinery for correct labeling
· Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to everyday operation
· Assist in shut down procedures
Requirements:
· Prior food manufacturing or packaging experience
· Must be able to work evenings and weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
· Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
· Manual dexterity with constant repetitive motion
· Ability to work in a cold environment climate
· Ability to bend, stoop, turn, kneel on a frequent basis
· Ability to Frequently reach, carry and lift 25-35lb. trays/boxes of bread, 35lbs and over will be assisted 2 person lifting.
Shifts: 4am to 12:30 pm
12pm to 8:30 pm
8pm to 4:30am
