Job Summary: We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team. The ideal candidates will ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and inviting. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a high standard of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Room Cleaning: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
Public Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas.
Laundry: Collect, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels. Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens and towels is available.
Inventory Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and inform the Housekeeping Manager when supplies need to be reordered.
Guest Services: Respond to guest requests for additional items or services promptly and courteously.
Safety and Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other staff and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a lodge, hotel, or resort setting.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good physical stamina; able to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and best practices.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products.
Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Primarily indoor work environment.
Physical demands include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Will require some weekend, holiday and on call work.
Compensation:
$14+ depending on experience & schedule availability.
