Are you an experienced and reliable Driver looking for a new opportunity in the Transportation industry? We are seeking a friendly and skilled Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods locally or across different regions. You will follow assigned routes and schedules to deliver products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
Follow assigned delivery routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care to prevent damage
Verify delivery instructions and obtain necessary signatures and documentation from customers
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition
Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, including regular fueling and servicing
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues or delays
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Proven work experience as a Driver, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and local routes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and responsibly, while also being a team player
Physical ability to load and unload products, including heavy lifting
Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and technology
