Job Description: Infrastructure Engineering Senior AdvisorHighly skilled Z/OS Systems programmer, highly skilled at Z/os internals, able to debug system and application dumps using IPCS and Abend-aid tools. Must be expert at SMP/E product installs. Must have strong Broadcom ESP Installation and Maintenance experience. This position requires configuration changes using Service Now to take place during our Change Windows. Occasional night shift work for these changes is required.Responsibilities:

Install, customize, support and maintain Z/oS and related products.

Install, administer and maintain IBM and third party products.

Train and guide junior staff members.

Maintain current documentation related to each OEM software product.

Work with vendors for system support and problem resolution.

Lead the diagnosis of issues and solve problems that arise with software and hardware.

Maintain and support established Disaster Recovery plans and exercises.

Work with infrastructure teams to create and maintain standards.

Provide 24x7 rotational on-call technical support.

Maintained baseline operations for the Z/oS test and production environments.

Provided technical support and problem determination for both systems and applications teams.

Take ownership role for and resolve highly complex or critical incidents within the mainframe Z/os environment

Provide project consultation to business application teams; Be able to work off hours as needed to support product maintenance and installs.

Install/customize and maintain GDPS elements within the environment.

Qualifications / Skills Preferred: Self-Starter and self-motivated Strong interpersonal, collaboration and team skills Effective oral and written communication Strong understanding and experience with z/OS mainframe operating systems and program products. Strong Broadcom and CompuWare product knowledge and experience. Experience with JCL, JES, SDSF, VSAM, Catalog management, mainframe communications, RACF and SMP/E. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate with different roles/teams to achieve common goals.
