Work Location - Remote, United StatesSummary:The Quality Review & Governance Lead Auditor for IFP supports the U.S. Government Governance team as an audit, risk, and control subject matter expert. The Quality Review & Governance Lead Auditor is responsible for the design, tooling, execution and development of new processes, policies and solutions to address risks and gaps in controls in the Government organization. This role leads reviews designed to identify improvement opportunities, and provides actionable recommendations on issues related to business, people, processes, and technology.Responsibilities:

Work in conjunction with the business units and Enterprise Compliance, to identify and mitigate risks prior to them being identified by stakeholders, regulators, and/or Internal Audit

Lead prospective and retrospective audits to monitor quality and compliance.

Identify, assess, and document risks and controls within processes.

Identify error trends and root causes.

Summarizes results of audits and effectively communicate to management recommendations for actions to resolve business issues.

Develop subject matter expertise in areas audited and become resource for the team.

Design and drive process improvement to further enhance service outcomes; opportunities for streamlining processes and procedures, reducing rework.

Ability to meet production demands and maintain a high level of quality.

Executes more complex advisory tasks such as reviewing the remediation of issues identified by the second and third lines of defense.

Serve as the primary point of contact for the second and third line of defense to support any oversight and timely escalate issues identified by the first line monitoring.

Support the creation of an annual risk-based review plan.

Participate in regular team and company meetings.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent work experience, highly preferred.

4 or more years of internal or external audit experience or related business experience. Individuals with more extensive business experience and an interest in risk identification and process improvement are encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of risk and control identification.

A general understanding of the information technology environment including understanding of automated business process controls (i.e., application controls).

The candidate must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently with minimal oversight by the Manager.

Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.

Demonstrate effective time management skill.

Comfortable working in both an office-based and virtual team-based collaborative environment.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 91,300 - 152,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.We want you to be healthy, balanced, and feel secure.
