This position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining ProtoTrak lathe and milling machines to produce precision parts according to technical drawings and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, proficiency in interpreting blueprints, and the ability to work independently to achieve production goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Produce precision quality parts machining a variety of materials to engineering specification (SS304, 316L, aluminum and a variety of plastics, etc.).Ability to read and interpret prints.Review Production Status Report and complete orders as needed.Perform own setups.Punch job in ERP systemVerifying final dimensions with print, by using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, fixtures and gauges.Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment.Must understand and comply with all safety rules, Quality Management System and company policies.Promote customer focus
