Banking Services Analyst III - Treasury Operations

Overview:Primary responsibly is monitoring M&T Bank’s account position at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Additionally, this position has responsibility for monitoring the Real Time Payments account balance and our account at The Clearing House. This position has a close working relationship with Treasury Traders and Treasury Risk Management.Other wire processing tasks and support as needed.Primary Responsibilities:

Monitoring M&T Bank position at Federal Reserve and The Clearing House

Develop and produce mid-complexity departmental reports and spreadsheets, including project or product strategy analyses, historical reporting, workflow analyses and financial analyses.

Conduct complex analysis and judgment-based work over multiple disciplines to support Treasury Risk Managers.

Conduct complex data review, research, and/or reconciliation for assigned areas.

Lead the drafting and/or editing of procedures related to the Money Desk function.

Support provided for departmental audits including user certifications and compliance testing for Enterprise Wire Transfer.

Support planning, testing, and implementing of new projects, systems, products, and regulatory changes impacting Enterprise Wire Transfer and internal business partners.

Departmental system support, coordinating with internal business partners, external vendors, and Technology to address issues for Enterprise Wire Transfer

Provide functional system knowledge to colleagues within one or more functional areas of Deposit & Payment Services.

Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years’ related experience,OR in lieu of a degree, aA combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ related experienceStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational skillsProficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent word processing and spreadsheet softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsEducation and Experience Preferred:Prior experience in functional areas supportedSchedule/Location:This position requires a hybrid schedule, reporting onsite to office locations in either Buffalo, NY, Bridgeport, CT or Baltimore, MD. Scheduled hours for this position are Mon-Fri 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $60,890.34 - $101,483.90 Annual (USD).
