Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sales Assistant in the Machinery/Worktools industry, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The role involves assisting customers to rent and sell equipment in a busy store environment, handling cash activity, and utilizing a range of skills including CRM and data processing.Responsibilities: Engage with customers to assist them in renting and selling equipment. Handle cash activity as part of the buying processes. Utilize CRM to manage customer relationships and track transactions. Employ data processing skills to maintain accurate customer records. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed. Utilize 'About Time' software for efficient time tracking. Support the team by answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service. Utilize 'Concur' and 'Crystal Reports' for financial services and reporting purposes. Adhere to all store policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. Requirements Proficient in using ADP - Financial Services software Familiarity with Concur expense management solutions Strong experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems Ability to generate and analyze reports using Crystal Reports Experience in Data Processing operations Working knowledge of About Time software for efficient time tracking Excellent in Answering Inbound Calls and providing customer service Understanding of Buying Processes, preferably in the machinery/worktools industry Experience in Cash Activity management and Cash Handling Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a team and individually High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
