This is an opportunity that offers competitive benefits, great pay, and room for growth.Description:Complete nursing assessment upon admission to the programOversee the safe administration of medications, being mindful of medication interactions and preventing medication errorsMaintain client medical health records according to DPH, CARF, TJC, ASAM, OSHA, and company policies and proceduresAttend to day-to-day health situations that may arise among clientsEnsure implementation of appropriate detox protocols and all other policies and proceduresMonitor withdrawal symptoms of clients and attend to health needsIs alert for signs and symptoms of emerging medical or psychiatric complications, and communicates findings/concerns to MD/APRN and other members of the treatment teamTop Skills Details:Case management, Health care, Patient care, Managed careAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferredA current active CT license as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse requiredExperience with both general medical and psychiatric populationsOne year of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health preferredComputer skills (email, Electronic Medical Records & Microsoft Office) Understanding and awareness of withdrawal symptoms.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as necessary.Able to provide thorough physical assessments of clientsAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
