Job DescriptionThe sanitation team member is responsible for keeping warehouse, refrigeration, and grocery areas, offices, conference room, breakroom, and restrooms in clean, orderly and sanitary condition.Responsibilities
Clean warehouse with hand brooms, electric powered scrubbers, and sweepers to meet company standards. Keep track of cleaning supplies and replenish as needed. Notify Team Member responsible for purchasing supplies of any impending shortages before supplies are exhausted. Remove and properly dispose of all refuse, recycle, cardboard, and broken pallets. Clean offices (including dusting), break room (including microwaves, refrigerators, and tables) conference room, restrooms, and floors (including sweeping and mopping) and replenish paper goods and supplies as needed. Pre-shift warm up, meetings and pre-shift equipment checks Change or charge batteries in power – operated equipment, including compactor/baler, pallet jacket, power washer, floor buffer, and scrubbers, and safety equipment. Report all life safety and fire hazards, along with any other violations of company policy to Team Leader for correction and report all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately. Properly and accurately record time using time clock at the beginning and end of each shift and for unpaid meal breaks during shift. Utilize cleaning checklists and adhere to Safety and Master Sanitation Schedule Operating Procedures Responsible for proper dress code. Steel – toe or composite toe shoes must be worn. Comply with all applicable health and safety codes Communicate and maintain employee safety and security standards Arrive to work on time, wear appropriate PPE, work all scheduled shifts, complete required training and attend required meetings. Ability to read and speak basic English Must be 18 years year of age
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Associate Team Leader, Team Leader, and Facility Leadership.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 10 hours without a break Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders Bend and lift loads regularly not to exceed 25 lbs, and on occasion lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Push and pull carts, weighing up to 100 pounds, unassisted. Ability to perform by repetitive use of right and left hands for simple grasping, power grasping, pushing, and pulling and fine manipulation. While exact time may vary for each task, constant use may be anywhere from one to six hours during a work shift. Must be able to consistently bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat during a work shift. Must be able to lift and carry load of 25 pounds regularly from 1 to over 100 feet and 26- 50 pounds the same distances intermittently during the work shift. Ability to visually see that something needs to be cleaned or polished. Demonstrated proficiency in the proper use of a dumpster, baler, box cutters, and all related equipment. Environment exposure: temperature extremes (coolers, freezer, and outdoors) Work in a moderate noise environment May be exposed to cleaning or other commercial chemicals, dust, and other cleaning related substances. Work on variety of floor surfaces including tile, carpet, outdoors and concrete.
Availability Requirements
Average shift are 10 hours long Able to work a flexible schedule based on needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required Team Members receive their schedule up to 3 weeks in advance.
