As a key player in our high precision inertial measurement sensor and system manufacturing, you will be instrumental in supporting the engineering test equipment, troubleshooting processes, and driving manufacturing efficiency. Your role will encompass designing and developing manufacturing processes for products in full-rate production and transitioning new products from design and development to full-rate production. Develop In process test application to customer specifications. Programming Test and Measurement instruments via a GPIB bus or related serial bus.
Programming labview VI’s with knowledge of NI daq or related data acquisition hardware.
programing visual basic and/or HT basic for windows.
Process data using microsoft office tools (excel and VBA).
create reports for final acceptance test evaluation.
Able to read an electrical circuit. comfortable walking through an analog/digital circuit with discrete components.
Update obsolete instruments with newer off the shelf equipment.
Develop software build documents.
Develop calibration procedures for inprocess testing methods.
ensure compliance with EH&S standards.
Assist with capital equipment research and justification.
Drive improvements in Yield,quality,cost,schedule, and productivity.
Troubleshoot production process issues and reccomend new equipment and materials

Qualification You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelors degree in software engineering, electrical engineering or related engineering disipline
proficiency in microsoft visual studio.
Experience with microsoft Office (Excel, VBA )
Experience in software systems integration, validation, and automation build tools.
Experience with developing software applications in Labview, visual basic or HT basic.
Experience with designing analog/digital circuits using discrete electronics.
Experience using a schematic capture tool or cad tool.
Experience with electrical simulation tools for electrical design.
