Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $17.75 - $17.75 / hourWhat you'll be doing as a Mitigation Technician:
Perform restoration activities, including demolition, cleaning, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning, and deodorization
Clean and sanitize affected surfaces, including walls, floors, and structural components, to prevent further damage and promote a healthy environment
Set up and monitor drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and air movers to facilitate the drying process and prevent mold growth
Safely remove, pack, and store contents from affected areas, ensuring proper documentation and care
Use appropriate site protection, like the use of protective shoe covers and floor mats
Provide clear and empathetic communication to clients throughout the restoration process, addressing their questions and concerns
May maintain detailed records of the restoration process, including photographs, moisture readings, and work performed, for insurance claims and company records
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure the safety of yourself, your team, and the property

Knowledge of industry-standard equipment and techniques for water damage restoration
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Willingness to work irregular hours and respond to emergency calls as needed
