Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in DANBURY, Connecticut. The role involves critical financial data analysis, report generation, and providing actionable insights to bolster our client's business operations. The Sr. Financial Analyst will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis. Responsibilities: Analyze financial data in-depth, including variance analysis and forecasting, to identify key financial metrics and trends which will support strategic decision-making. Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards, presenting financial performance and projections using advanced Excel functions and MS Query. Utilize MS Query to extract and manipulate data from various sources ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all financial reports and analyses. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitor performance against budgets and provide insights into variance. Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and reporting methods, streamlining data collection and analysis to enhance efficiency. Collaborate closely with finance team members and other departments to gather data, understand business needs, and provide financial insights. Perform in-depth analysis of financial data, including trend analysis. Develop comprehensive reports using advanced Excel functions to present financial performance and projections. Utilize MS Query to extract and manipulate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy in all financial reports and analyses. Assist in budgeting and forecasting, monitoring performance against budgets and providing insights into variance.This is a part-time position up to 25 hours per week-on-site and then flexible to go hybrid or remote.
