Job Details
We are looking for a self-starting, self-motivated candidate who can help drive process improvements and productivity on the shop floor. If you are an action-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, please submit your name and credentials for further consideration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Program and operate a variety of CNC machines and CAD-CAM systems to include but not limited to lathes, mills and lasers including set up, loading and machining parts. • Design fixtures and CNC programs for the parts per the customer specifications through engineered drawings and or CAD using CNC programming software. • Use and interpret complicated prints, drawings and process sheets, as well as, work with engineers in design and changes to fixtures. • Utilize measuring tools to verify trim and measurements of fixture and part designs when created. • Performs other duties as assigned.
You should know some of the following:
5+ year's experience in Aerospace preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline preferred
Experience in advanced manufacturing operations and machining techniques: Lathe, 5-Axis Mill, Grind, etc.
Background in multi-access CNC experience; Journeyman card desired.
Proficient at reading, analyzing, and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures, and standards.
Proficient with computer systems and basic software including MS Word and Excel.
Knowledge of tool, fixture design and GD&T.
Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures while following direction and completing assignments accurately and on time.
Ability to utilize CAD-CAM Modeling Systems.
Ability to train others on processes and make corrections on complex issues.
Experience with CAD/CAM; Siemens NX Unigraphics preferred.
