Job Title: Maintenance MechanicJob DescriptionPerforms assigned preventive maintenance tasks on bakery equipment including automated packaging equipment and ovens. Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment. Responds to and corrects equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner. Troubleshoots whenever necessary. Repairs and replaces worn, defective parts, motors, control devices, etc. Operates shop equipment and makes required parts as needed. Maintains inventory of spare parts and tools. Serves on the Safety Team and follows GMP's and food safety practices. Ability to work various days, hours, and shifts including night or weekend 'on-call' rotations.Responsibilities

Essential Skills
2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Good understanding of food handling practices.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Experience with gearboxes, blueprints, and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Two-year degree from a college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of 3 to 5 years related experience in manufacturing.
Military background is preferred.
Willingness to learn about unique food and beverage machines.
