Description We are offering a contract to permanent position as an Application Development Project Manager/Lead in Greenwich, Connecticut. This role involves overseeing the technical aspects of application development projects, which includes the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions within our industry.Responsibilities: Lead a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices. Manage the design, development, and implementation of software applications that meet business requirements and are scalable, reliable, and secure. Oversee the infrastructure supporting application development efforts, which encompasses servers, databases, networks, and cloud platforms. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to guarantee projects are delivered on time and within budget. Implement robust quality assurance processes, including code reviews, automated testing, and performance monitoring. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in application development and infrastructure management and use these insights to drive innovation. Supervise the build and uplift of application development infrastructure to ensure it supports the needs of our software solutions. Lead the integration of new systems and technologies into the existing application development infrastructure. Regularly monitor and optimize the performance of the application development infrastructure. Implement automation tools and practices for infrastructure provisioning and management. Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure the availability and integrity of application development infrastructure. Implement robust security measures to protect the application development infrastructure from threats. Manage relationships with vendors and service providers. Maintain comprehensive documentation of the application development infrastructure.Requirements Minimum of 7 years of experience in application development project management or similar role Proven expertise in Cloud Technologies including Microsoft Azure Proficiency in Content Management System (CMS) Demonstrable experience in Contract Management Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft tools and technologies Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices Experience in conducting Auditing processes related to application development Knowledge and application of industry Best Practices in application development Proven track record in Change Management within application development projects Coding skills, with the ability to understand and guide development teams effectively.
