Documentation Specialist

Description We are seeking a Documentation Specialist to join our team in the finance consulting industry, located in GREENWICH, Connecticut. This role involves handling critical procedures in the loan documentation process. We offer this role as a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Review and scrutinize financial statements with diligence Gather all the necessary documentation from clients ensuring its completeness and accuracy Collaborate effectively with sales representatives for documentation collection Take responsibility in setting up new deals with lenders, ensuring all required documentation is in place and in line with internal and lender guidelines Address customer inquiries and professionally resolve any issues related to loan documentation and processing Evaluate loan applications and pair each with the suitable lender based on specific deal criteria to facilitate successful funding Conduct preliminary risk assessments by pulling merchant credit reports and performing background checks as part of the application review process Utilize your skills in Customer Service, Data Entry, and Microsoft Office Suites to efficiently manage multiple responsibilities. Requirements Proven experience in a similar role within the finance consulting industry Exceptional customer service skills Proficiency in data entry tasks Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively Ability to work both independently and as part of a team High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive documents Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred Familiarity with finance regulations and documentation standards in the consulting sector.
