Our ideal candidate will possess superb communication skills as well as in-depth technical knowledge in order to perform effective troubleshooting. Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as a senior support engineer at client office
Provide support for VIP user group when required
Provide on-call support one weekend per month
Act as a subject matter expert for end users
Ability to support end user compute technologies such as desktops, laptops and Citrix VDI
Ability to make changes to group policies as needed
Ability to support third party authentication services such MFA and SSON portals
Ability to provide support for mobile device management solution in place
Provide support to market data applications (Bloomberg)
Work with third party vendors for escalations and troubleshooting when necessary
Work within the team to develop processes to enable Automation, Orchestration, and Enhance and Improve existing services
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required
Background in financial services is a strong plus
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support role
Preferred Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Preferred experience in working with a diverse range of business departments (i.e. Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Technology, Compliance and Risk)
Deep technical knowledge in Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop,
Experience in building and maintaining Windows 10 images either for workstations or in a virtual desktop environment
Experience in performing basic administration tasks in Microsoft Azure preferred
