We are seeking a highly motivated AI/ML Engineer to support the development of Generative AI-based digital tools and platforms in a pharmaceutical R&D environment. The successful candidate will join the Automation and Robotics team, focusing on designing, prototyping, and implementing AI-driven solutions for pharmaceutical applications.This role provides hands-on experience with machine learning (ML), large language models (LLMs), automation, and data engineering, contributing to next-generation digital tools that accelerate innovation in the pharmaceutical industry.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain knowledge graphs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for scientific data.Design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven solutions for chemical process optimization.Implement AI/ML models for predictive analytics and decision support in chemical synthesis.Build robotic control systems to orchestrate workflows using modular lab equipment.Create new applications leveraging the Jupyter framework for web-based tools.Integrate and visualize experimental data within applications where applicable.Develop and maintain Python-based pipelines for data acquisition and workflow automation.Collaborate with scientific stakeholders to refine requirements and iterate on prototypes.Work with APIs, databases, and internal data pipelines for seamless integration.Document code and workflows in compliance with internal best practices and quality standards.
