The Senior Solid State NMR Scientist provides laboratory support in solid-state NMR (ssNMR) data collection and interpretation for pharmaceutical materials.Apply ssNMR to characterize a broad range of pharmaceutical materials (crystalline and non-crystalline small molecule APIs, excipients, drug product intermediates, and drug products)Apply quantitative ssNMR methods to measure components of APIs and drug productsPlan and perform experiments with minimal supervisionCollaborate with colleagues in Materials Science to define and implement characterization strategiesSolve scientific problems using contemporary Materials Science experimental techniquesContribute to the development of new scientific approaches and knowledge within the Materials Science organizationEnsure contemporaneous and accurate entries are made in the electronic laboratory notebook system according to accepted good practice
