Accounts Payable Clerk (part time)

Per Sé Group is one of the premier boutique staffing firms in the US for the energy and heavy construction industries. We are hiring a part-time Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk for a 4–6-month contract to support one of our Power Generation clients. This role has flexible hours and can be hybrid (in-office and remote, but not fully remote). It will be about 24 hours per week, with a couple of days each week in the office nearest you.

Our client manages and operates over 20 generation facilities in the Northeastern United States. In this role you will be responsible for processing invoices for payment in the work management system for multiple power plant locations in Connecticut (CT), New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), and Maryland (MD). Additionally, you will provide backup support for administrative staff at these sites as needed.

Some of your duties will include processing AP backlog; processing and initiating invoice payments; maintaining accurate and up-to-date invoice records; and investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies or payment issues.

High school diploma or equivalent required, plus 1+ year of accounts payable experience. Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat PDF skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively; and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently required.

The compensation range for this role is $20 - $25/hr.
