Our client is looking for Analytics Engineer for a Long term project in Hartford, CT below is the detailed requirements.

Job description:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 10+ Years of relevant experience.
• You should have at leat 5+ years of extensive work experience in various data modeling techniques (relational, data warehouse, semi-structured, etc.), application development, advance data querying skills
• Strong 5+years of programming experience in SQL. Experience with Databricks is a plus.
• Solid experience with writing, optimizing, and data pipelines.
• Strong familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and workflow.
• Comfortable working with Git and the command line. Experience with Harness is a plus.
• Comfortable working VS Code or a similar code editor.
• Ability to interpret complex data requirements and architect solutions
• Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong business acumen
• Existing knowledge of Large Commercial Insurance business is a plus
• Solid experience writing, optimizing, and analyzing SQL, with strong capability to interpret complex data requirements and architect solutions.
• Familiarity with Python or Spark SQL is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse is a plus. Experience with PolyBase preferred.
• Passion for data and experience working within a data driven organization.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
