Our client, a worldwide media & entertainment brand are looking for a Web Developer fluent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript who is passionate about creating highly interactive and animated web experiences. You are equally excited by implementing great design, motion and interaction as you are writing clean, readable and reusable code. You are self-motivated and always looking for creative ways to solve problems. You thrive in a team environment and are a good communicator/collaborator. You are self-motivated and take initiative to get solutions and to provide your opinions without waiting on others. You are always looking for ways to learn, implement new technologies and push the creative envelope

Responsibilities:

• Converting designs to pixel-perfect HTML and CSS
• Test, diagnose, and solving cross-platform browser and device issues
• Understand motion, animation, and interaction
• Develop custom single page applications without frameworks

• 3-5 years of experience writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Demonstrated attention to detail by converting designs to pixel-perfect HTML and CSS
• Experience testing, diagnosing, and solving cross-platform browser and device issues
• Solves problems independently though also willing to ask for help and encourage discussion
• Understanding, respect, and patience for design and UX
• Understanding and excitement for motion, animation, and interaction
• Dedication and passion to make every project the best it can be
• Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize, organize their own time, and consistently meet internal and external deadlines.
• Reliable work-from-home setup with reliable internet connection.
• Portfolio and/or online samples showing a track record of developing high-quality, responsive websites on mobile, tablet and desktop.
• Experience with custom animations and animation libraries (gsap)
• Ability to develop custom single page applications without frameworks
• Experience working with data sets and building charts (Custom and/or with a library)
• Experience working with location-based data and implementing 3rd party map services
• Experience with collaborative tools (Github, Asana, Jira, Slack)
• Experience with design tools (Figma, Photoshop)
• Understanding of site optimization
• Experience with build processes (Babel, Sass, HTML templating)
• Experience interacting with APIs (Node.js)
• Experience working in a large company environment in either publishing or media
