Job DescriptionFor this role, the assemblers are building spiral doors (high speed automatic industrial doors) from the ground up. They work on solely spiral doors at this location, but each door is slightly customized for each customer. Assemblers work in teams in cells and use overhead cranes and lifting platforms to make it as easy as possible. Overhead cranes are at every cell, but they still need to be able to lift 50lbs at the most. They are on their feet the entire day. Assemblers are cross trained in EVERY area. They start training with something super basic so they can get familiar with the company, their products, the culture/people, etc. They will be lifting up to 50lbs at times, reading from a print, and utilizing various hand and power tools such as drill punch, grinder, heat gun, impact drill. They will need to have basic math skills and be able to read from a ruler while mapping out the length of parts.
