Interior Remove & Install Technician

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking skilled and motivated Interior Remove & Install Technicians for a full-time, contract position in Hartford, Connecticut . In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and refurbishing aircraft interior equipment and furnishings per work orders or customer requests. Your work will directly support the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of corporate aircraft interiors.Location: Hartford, CTJob Type: Full-Time, ContractShift: Day ShiftPay Rate: $29.76 - $35.71 per hourKey Responsibilities:

Fabricate, install, and refurbish aircraft interiors in compliance with manuals and regulations.

Document all work performed and maintain clear communication on project progress.

Assist with drop-ins and unplanned maintenance during slow periods.

Participate in 5-S activities and comply with health and safety procedures.

Perform cleaning of aircraft interiors and support maintenance at off-site locations as required.

Opportunity for international travel assignments.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in aircraft interior removal and installation.

Ability to break down cabinets, remove hardware, and strip finishes using heat and a scraper.

Expertise in sanding, prepping veneer, and hardwood for finishing, as well as staining and painting.

Knowledge of spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Basic PC skills, effective written and verbal communication
